When most people think of a roast dinner, they think of a Sunday. The big family table, the Yorkshire puddings, the argument about who gets the last roastie. It’s a ritual, and a brilliant one at that. But here at The Carvery in Torremolinos, we’ve never really understood why such a good thing should be limited to just one day a week.
So we didn’t!
Our full carvery is on every single day, Monday through to Sunday, which means whether you’re visiting the Costa del Sol on a Tuesday in July or a Thursday in October, a proper British roast dinner is waiting for you. Fresh-carved meats, all the trimmings, unlimited visits to the carvery, and yes, the Yorkshire puddings are always there. Every day!
The Rules Don’t Apply on Holiday
One of the things we love most about our diners is that they’ve usually made a decision the moment they walk through the door. They’re on holiday, the sun is shining, and they want something that feels like home, but done properly, in a restaurant they can actually relax in. That’s exactly what The Carvery was built for.
There’s something genuinely special about sitting on the Costa del Sol with a full carvery plate in front of you and a cold drink in your hand. It’s the kind of combination that doesn’t exist anywhere else in Torremolinos, and frankly, that’s what makes it worth visiting on a Monday just as much as a Sunday!
Not in the Mood for a Roast? We’ve Got Lots On Offer
Now, we know that not every diner walks through the door craving a full carvery. Sometimes you fancy something a little different. Maybe you’ve had the roast three days running (no judgement, we’ve seen it happen!) and you want something else from the menu. That’s absolutely fine, because alongside the carvery we offer a full menu of proper British classics, served all week long.
Kick things off with our starters, including a prawn cocktail the way it should be, or go for something a bit more unexpected with our camembert bites or crispy chilli beef.
For mains, the large Fish and Chips is a proper crowd-pleaser. The taste of a British seaside holiday, served in actual sunshine for once! If you’re after something a little more indulgent, our steak is exactly what it should be: proper, generous, and worth every bite.
And then there’s pudding, because no meal at The Carvery is complete without it. The Eton Mess is light, fresh, and somehow manages to feel like both a treat and a good idea at the same time. The Sticky Toffee Pudding, on the other hand, is an unapologetic statement of intent!
A Midweek Visit Might Just Be Your New Favourite Thing
Midweek at The Carvery is brilliant. You can beat the weekend rush, it’s a little more relaxed, and it’s the perfect excuse to treat yourself on a Tuesday or Wednesday when you’d otherwise be thinking about what to have for dinner.
Whether you’re a first-time visitor to the Costa del Sol trying to work out where to eat in Torremolinos or Benalmádena, or a returning regular who already knows exactly what they’re ordering, the answer is the same. Come in, sit down and enjoy the whole experience with us.
The Carvery is open seven days a week for evening dining, as well as Sunday from 12:00 until 22:00. Walk-ins are always welcome, though booking a table is recommended to avoid disappointment – which you can do just here.
You’ll find us in the Montemar area of Torremolinos on Calle Saltillo 2, just behind the Hotel Ocean House (formerly the Sol House). We look forward to seeing you soon!
